So, i applied to this program that is meant to inform you on the different arts- well, stage arts... and i thought it would be a little sketchy cause, well, its free.. and why would a not-government funded organization do that?

But the first day (orientation) was pretty cool.. so my uneasyness is basically gone.. and i made ALOT of new friends- which was one of my goals in joining the program by myself, to start off with.



The first actual performance we will watch is a play called Antigone at SoulPepper Theatre (which i've never been) , and it has to do with Greek mythological Oedipus, whose story i know, more or less, but mostly about his daughter, who also commits suicide, like her father, and how the man who loves her commits suicide as well.
-lots of suicides, or is it just me?

Hm..

It's kinda funny



I find that whenever i expect so much from something or someone.. I'm always disappointed



but when i don't expet much.. alot of the time, God will do something amazing.

-p.s. if you're wondering, im reffering to the fall retreat at ebc, and church in a box at redeemer university - definetely somewhere to visit if you can!



Haha, speaking of which, we'll see how Bright Star goes tommorow!

(cause im expecting ALOT from that movie)



YAY! i'm so excited though, considering how i've been practically dying to watch it!

but thats more because it's EXACTLY my type of movie

But also for reasons that do not include the facts that it is a true story, clearly a chick flick and has mr. british dreamy boy

but also because it's directed by a woman (something very rare)

AND (my favourite detail would be) that the girl is not the ideal beauty.

it just adds so much to it all!

omy, this is going to be a hard year
especially with some other things bouncing around my head.

all 3 sciences, ADVANCED MATH (termed - aka twice a day) , eng, world relig., and gym

have mercy on me Lord.. i NEEEEEED your help.

the movie Dorian Grey came out/ will come out everywhere but Canada

BUT.. to make up for that, it was playing at TIFF on Friday...

which makes me feel ever to peachy since I missed it

I LOVE Disney

These past few days i have been doing a disney marathon while i have been down with a cold.



Maybe it was the drugs, but i think i love and aprreciate the works of the Grimm Brothers and Mr. Walt Disney more than i have ever before.
Those men will always live on as geniuses/genii to me.






...and can i just say that the songs are MARVELOUS (and had me clapping by the end of some)
